TANZANIA BUGDET TOURS

6 Days Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro - Lake Eyasi

Day 1: Nairobi to Arusha
Pick from you Nairobi hotel. 0800 hrs Depart for Arusha via Namanga border town on the morning or afternoon shuttle. (You could as well board the afternoon shuttle departing at 1400 hrs). Overnight in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara
0900 hrs: Depart and drive past Makuyuni and on to Lake Manyara National Park. Afternoon game viewing drive where if you are lucky you might see the tree climbing lions!! Also a visit to the hot springs and the Hippo pool will be essential. Dinner and overnight at lodge/campsite.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro
Leave after breakfast and drive to the world famous Ngorongoro crater; here you will have a chance to see all the Big Five and fresh water lake with the hippos and just next to it we have the salt water lake where you find the lesser flamingoes and other water birds. Note: you will have to carry a packed lunch with you as you spend whole day in the crater. Return to campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast drive via Karatu and proceed to Lake Eyasi, where you set up camp and proceed for a trekking trip where you will find the Tindikika Tribe "equivalent to Pygmies of Congo", and exploring Lake Eyasi and its surrounding. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 5: Lake Eyasi
Whole day spent exloring Lake Eyasi and its surroundings. All meals and overnight at the campsite.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi to Arusha
After breakfast drive back to Arusha arriving in time for Lunch!! Either proceed to Nairobi or stay in Arusha.

3 Days Adventure Camping in Tanzania

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Manyara

Arrive Namanga border town at 10.00 hrs. After immigration formalities, drive to Arusha for lunch. Proceed to lake Manyara National park on the base of the Great Rift Valley. This small park contains five distinct vegetation zones, thus supporting large variety of birds and animals. The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions, and its large flock of flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, leave Manyara for Ngorongoro crater. Taking a picnic lunch with you, descend 2,000 ft {670 m} into the crater floor for game viewing. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. It will be an unforgatable experience under the sun. All the "Big Five" Black maned lions, Rhinos, Elephants, Buffaloes and Leopards can be seen. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 3: Ngorongoro

Nairobi After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch and afterwards to Nairobi via Namanga border town, arriving early in the evening.

The Best of Tanzania (6 Days)


Day 1 Ngorongoro

Early morning departure from Nairobi for Tanzania, crossing the border at Namanga where our Tanzanian guides will meet you. Drive on to Arusha for lunch and continue to the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and an overnight stay at your campsite.

Day 2 Ngorongoro

Breakfast at the lodge and drive down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full day's game viewing. The Crater (covering at total area of 100 square miles) is host to Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Zebra and Wildebeest. Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending the crater wall back to the lodge. After dinner and an overnight stay is at your campsite.

Day 3 Serengeti
Breakfast and continue to the vast Serengeti National Park. Stop at Olduvai Gorge site of the famous archeological findings of early man by the Leakey family. Lunch is at the archeological site and afternoon game viewing where the large herds of Wild beast, Zebra, and Gazelle roam the plains. Dinner and overnight at your campsite.

Day 4 Serengeti

Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid afternoon. It is possible to view all the big five. Animals here are seen in very large herds, especially wildebeest, zebra gazelle and other antelopes. The park is one of the largest in the world; it's animal concentration and abundance is unequalled. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra occurs in this park in May/June. In the parks central plains there are carnivores like Lion, Leopard, hyenas and cheetah. The evening meal and an overnight are at your campsite.

Day 5 Serengeti - Tarangire

After breakfast, depart Serengeti for Tarangire National Park, lunch en-route The Park has an atmosphere of remoteness and has fewer visitors than all the other parks in Tanzania's entire northern circuit. Blue monkeys, hornbills, pelicans, herons can be seen as well as elephants in large herds, cheetah, jackal, fish eagle, marabou stork, and hippos. Dinner and an overnight are at your campsite.

Day 6 Tarangire/Nairobi
After breakfast proceed on a game drive then depart for Arusha for lunch and your onward transfer to Nairobi via the Namanga border town for immigration formalities, arriving in Nairobi in the late evening.

5 Days Tour of Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro - Serengeti

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Manyara
Pick from your Nairobi Hotel and depart at 0800 hrs for Namanga border town arriving at 1000hrs. After immigration formalities, drive to Arusha for lunch. Afternoon game viewing at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingoes. The park contains five distinct vegetation zones and is of scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel sited on top of the Rift Valley with a spectacular view over the lake, or at the campsite.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, taking a picnic lunch with you, descend 2,000ft (670m) into the crater floor in four-wheel drive land rovers with pop up roofs. Full day crater tour with lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 km and contains a constant animal population of varied species. Black manned lions, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Elephants and other grazing animals have made this crater a permanent home. Return early evening to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro to Serengeti
O730 hrs: Leave Ngorongoro after breakfast for Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at the Gorge Museum. After lunch, visit various sites of the Gorge to see where the remains of pre-historic man were discovered by the famous archeologist Dr. L.S.B. Leakey. Visit an Old Maasai home on the way. Proceed to Serengeti plains around Seronera with afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or campsite.

Day 4: Serengeti
Leave Seronera for Ndutu with game viewing around Ndutu woodlands to locate leopards and numerous plains games as well as cheetahs, common species here. Meals and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or campsite.

Day 5: Serengeti to Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Arusha for lunch and your onward transfer to Nairobi via the Namanga border town for immigration formalities, arriving in Nairobi in the late evening.
